Hai detto che ci sono delle persone che spesso accendono nel blog delle polemiche. In che misura si consiglia di usare le polemiche per far risaltare il tuo blog e o favorire la conversazione?
Debbie:
Questa è una bella domanda. Ricordo una persona che ha avuto dei vantaggi, o almeno ha creduto di averne. Parlo di Bob Parsons, il fondatore di CEO of GoDaddy, nome del dominio. Nel blog ha trattato di orientamenti politici e di quello che lui pensa dei trattamenti ai prigionieri nel carcere di Guantanamo Bay.
Approvava i trattamenti.
Questo è capitato circa due anni fa. Ha dato vita ad una accesa discussione nel suo blog. Mi disse in un’ intervista che ricevette decine di mail favorevoli a quello che aveva scritto nel suo post blog. E’ stato sorprendente.
Io gli ho detto: “Bob, quello che stai facendo è un orribile sotterfugio per far conoscere al lettore il blog aziendale. Come credi possa riflettersi su di te e sul nome dell’azienda”.
Lui mi rispose: “Non è importante. Mi ha dato molta visibilità”. In fatti, il dominio è salito di posizionamento nella SERP. Nessun svantaggio per l’azienda anche perchè sono aumentate le vendite dell’azienda proprio grazie a questa particolare pubblicità.
Questo è una specie di Howard Stern jock approccio:
” La miglior pubblicità è quella che non si fa”. A voi la critica.
E’ da considerare anche l’effetto ripple nella blogosfera. Quello che dici puo’ ritornarti contro come un boomerang.
Se dimostri troppa relazionalità o ti perdi in temi che non conosci molto bene o fai errori, puoi sempre spiegarti dopo, col tempo.
Il problema è che sei in una blogosfera. Sei nel Far West, o come la chiamano in Cina, “The Wild Est”. Cose che tu dici possono essere mal interpretate e si può perdere il controllo della conversazione.
E’ come con il gioco del telefono dove sussurri una parola all’orecchio dell’amico e via così. In poco tempo viene fuori:” Non posso credere a quello che stanno dicendo queste persone”. Magari si stanno riferendo a qualcosa che avevi scritto tempo or sono nel tuo blog e tu invece, dal loro modo di rispondere capisci che in realtà hanno mal interpretato quello che volevi dire nel post.
Fai quindi attenzione. Vedi quali sono le voci a tuo favore soprattutto nei commenti. Ancora, ricorda che stiamo parlando di un Business blog e di attività di blogging per un Business blog. Questo non è un Personal blog.
Nel Business blog, bloggare è collegato al Business dove chi scrive vuole definirsi come un esperto in materia. Vuoi che Google rimandi a te quando un utente scriva
nel motore di ricerca una parola chiave relativa a ciò che hai scritto nel blog. Vuoi che proprio quelle persone ti trovino anche on-line. Non dimenticate di mettere il tuo numero di telefono nel blog. Gli utenti interessati si segneranno il numero e ti chiameranno.
