Benvenuti al Personal Branding Global Telesummit.
Questo elaborato, è la trascrizione di una teleconferenza che l’autrice Debbi Weil, ha seguito per il Personal Branding Global Telesummit . PBGT nato dopo che Tom Peters autore di: ” The Brand Called YOU ” ha pubblicato proprio il suo testo, ormai testo di riferimento.
Personal Branding Global Telesummit è un summit che raccoglie partecipazioni di più di 100.000 professionisti in tutto il mondo.
Nina o meglio Caterina è l’intervistatrice mentre ad essere intervistata c’è Debbie Weil.
Subito spendo due parole per presentare Debbie anche se non credo sia necessario.
CHI E’ DEBBIE WEIL
Debbie afferma che la maggior parte delle aziende è terrorizzata dai bloggers. Da una stima fatta da Technorati, ci sono più di 100 milioni di bloggers attivi, bloggers che non si possono controllare. Rimane comunque un modo per difendere i proprio brand nella blogosfera sia che tu sia una delle migliori 500 aziende che un piccolo imprenditore, iniziare a tenere un blog. Ecco che entra in azione Debbie.
Debbie forma managers a come far nascere e gestire un blog: ” Il blog permette a te persona o marchio o bene che vendi, di divenire una realtà reperibile anche on-line. Se gestito bene, un blog può permetterti di ottenere le prime posizioni nei risultati delle ricerche di Google”.
Debbie attraverso le sue pratiche presentazioni, mostra come dar vita al proprio blog immediatamente. Si è specializzata nei contenuti strategici per il Corporate blog ossia, chi e come scrivere un blog, a che obiettivi puntare, come iniziare una conversazione con i lettori del blog. In più Debbie ha analizzato l’implicazione che il Web 2.0 e i social media ( blog, podcast, wikis, video e RSS ) hanno avuto in molte realtà aziendali in US, UK, UE e Cina.
La sua ultima pubblicazione è: “ The Corporate Blogging Book: Absolutely Everything you need to know to get it right ”, anche tradotto in italiano e mandarino.
Di Debbie ne parla il Wall Street Journal, il NY Times, il Washington Post, l’ USA Today, il Times, Entrepreneur Magazine e molti altri, anche su Sky News è comparsa nel Nightly Business Report. Ha lavorato al Network Solutions Inc, come reporter e editor per vent’anni intrattenendo rapporti con le più autorevoli testate giornalistiche come The Atlanta Constitution e Cox Newspapers Washington Bureau.
Ha una laurea ad Harvard con lode in Lettere ed un Master in giornalismo dall’ Università del Winsconsin, in più si è guadagnata un MBA dall’ Università di Georgetown.
