Puntata 3 Debbie Weil: Scrivere per i motori di ricerca

Ecco alcuni consigli che Debbie Weil da ad i lettori di caffebollenteintazzagrossa, sul come scrivere un blog che piaccia anche a Google.
Nina:
Vorrei capire meglio il concetto di Packagine che tu hai espresso. Puoi parlare di Keywords e Google ability?
Puoi spiegarci alcune tecniche per operare con questi tools?

Credo di aver parlato di questo in un altro mio libro. Devi pensare come un giornalista, soprattutto quando stai definendo il titolo al tuo post. Quello che devi fare è pensare sia a quello che attira il lettore e cosa può attrarre Google.
Non so dirvi con esattezza quante volte dovrete inserire nel vostro post delle keywords. Nel mio blog non opero così.
Dovete essere molto specifici e colorful. Esempio: se assistete ad un intervista con Bill Gates, il post non lo intitolereste “Bell’intervista con il numero uno” ma “Esclusiva intervista con Bill Gates, rivela Microsoft non dominerà a lungo”.
Per molti anni ho lavorato come giornalista e so per certo che questo è il modo giusto per scrivere il titolo di un articolo da prima pagina. La ragione di questo è che quando la gente scrive nel motore di ricerca parole come “Bill Gates, Microsoft, intervista esclusiva, Microsoft domina” il tuo post, che ha sicuramente un unico indirizzo URL, sarà il primo della lista.
Il titolo deve essere quanto di più specifico sia possibile. Se poi il post include un nome come quello di Tom Peters o un concetto o idea come il global branding, metti queste parole nel tuo titolo.

Fantastico. L’altra notte ho letto un articolo. Mi piaceva il titolo. Riguardava quelli che erano iscritti a Secon Life. Era molto accattivante e curioso come articolo. Ancora, quando la gente scruta gli RSS, con un click possono arrivare a leggere il tuo articolo, ed un’accattivante titolo aiuta.
Debbie:
Tu stai scrivendo per Google ma anche per le persone che possono avere inserito il tuo blog in un RSS reader. Tu devi e vuoi essere un blog interessante per queste persone. Ricordiamo che ci sono 100 milioni di blog. La gente non li legge tutti. Quindi la concorrenza in rete c’è ed è elevata.
Non devi essere per forza un blogger. Se non hai la passione e il desiderio di fare blog, non farlo. Se ami la scrittura o vuoi esprimerti, questo, il blog, è un modo per BRAND YOURSELF. Se no, non farlo, ci sono molte altre cose che puoi fare. Puoi mettere qualchun’ altro che pubblichi sul tuo blog su un argomento scelto da te.
Arriviamo così ad una questione chiave, domanda che viene sempre fuori:” Devo farlo? Tutti hanno bisogno di avere un blog?”. Se già sai che non avrai tempo di lavoraci sul blog per un periodo che va dall’anno in su, lascia stare.
Questo è un aspetto centrale nel mio libro. Devi bloggare minimo per un periodo che va da un anno a due anni.

…..opinabile. nel senso che allora chi scrive un blog dovrebbe tenere a mente che fa una cosa per raggiungere un certo successo e non prima di tutto epr avere un proprio hobbye personale o valvola di sfogo o cheneso….

@Bibi: Parliamo di Corporate blog, non di Personal blog.
Aimè. Vedi ci sono fior fior di imprese che investono molti dei soldi dell’area marketing proprio per dar vita a blog o altro.
Creare un blog significa investire minimo per un periodo di 2 anni. Ecco perchè poche sono le imprese che hanno un blog.
Le imprese ragionano così, porgetto, obiettivi, startegie per raggiungere gli obiettivi. Tutto è ben pianificato e nulla è lasciato al caso.
Come si dice:”Su con le orecchie”. Buona serata
