Puntata 1 Debbie Weil: Distinzione tra Business Blog e Blog Personale

In questa intervista vengono toccati tutta una serie di argomentazioni molto interessanti ed attuali nel mondo blog. Per motivi di spazio ho suddiviso l’intervista in più posts. Spero vogliate dirmi cosa ne pensiate.
Distinzione tra Business Blog e Blog Personale
Nina:
Partiamo dall’inizio. C’è una distinzione fra Business Blog e tutto il resto che c’è nella blogosfera?
Debbie:
Ebbene si, nel mio libro ho volutamente messo davanti alla parola blog, Business.
C’è una netta differenza tra il blog Personale e il Business blog. L’unica cosa che li accomuna è la passione e la cura che ci sta dietro ogni uno. Ci deve essere una passione che ti porta a scrivere, ad esprimerti per un pubblico on line. Questa è un importante similarità.
Le differenze invece, sono sugli argomenti. Gli argomenti in un Business blog sono legati ad una realtà aziendale dove l’autore presenta la sua esperienza.
Altra differenza è l’interazione che l’editor del blog intrattiene con i lettori. Puoi chiamarla anche la tua “Community”. Ricorda che non hai bisogno di avere una community con milioni di iscritti, partecipanti, ma bastano anche poche persone. Queste devono essere quelle giuste, devono essere quelle persone che tu effettivamente volevi raggiungere con il tuo blog.
Nina:
Una delle cose che si notano adesso è il passaggio da “consapevolezza dell’esistanza del brand (passività)”, verso “parlare in pubblico del brand (attivo)”. State puntando a questo?
Debbie:
Si, questo è un processo possibile attraverso lo stile di scrittura. Attenzione però. Se in un blog e supponiamo il blog Aziendale vuoi avere uno stile che sia relazionale, informale e il più amichevole possibile ma non vuoi (puoi) dire nulla o poco ecco che devi tracciare una linea che divide le tematiche che puoi affrontare e per queste è bene capire come parlarne e le tematiche che è meglio ascoltare. Tutto con uno stile informale e relazionale. Questo deve diventare il tuo stile di scrittura.
Nina:
Questo è un argomento interessante. Ci sono delle eccezioni a questa regola che comunque ti consentono di essere professionale? Ci sono dei casi nei quali l’autore del blog puo’ mostrare un po’ della sua personalità?
Debbie:
Si ci sono. Scrivere un blog richiede uno sforzo di creatività. E’ difficile per me dare delle regole precise di cosa fare. Le persone che seguono un blog, amano quando il blogger rileva qualcosa di personale.
Per esempio, un anno fa mio figlio corse nella maratona tenutasi a Boston. Venne fotografato mentre correva. Io pubblicai la foto nel mio blog. I lettori l’apprezarono. Lasciarono commenti come :” E’ così bravo!”. Io ho rivelato qualcosa sulla mia famiglia.
Pete Blackshaw ha un bel blog su brand e altri topics. Quando suo padre morì, lui scrisse una toccante dedica, ” Mio padre è stato molto importante per me”. Incluse un link per collegarsi a una pagina dove Pete scriveva di suo padre. E’ un tema molto personale ma ha dato l’idea del tipo di ragazzo che è Pete.
La risposta è si. Delle volte devi affrontare temi personali. L’importante è non essere solo/troppo personale tutte le volte.
Nina:
Vuoi parlare di tutto mantenendo la professonalità.
Ci sono dei taboos? Ci sono degli argomenti che non tratteresti e/o non raccomanderesti alle persone di parlarne nei loro blogs?
Debbi:
Di solito la politica. E’ una tematica che richiede molta cautela. Per alcuni di noi i nostri politici fanno parte della vita personale. La nostra visione della politica potrebbe non coincidere con la visione dei nostri clienti. Credo che ci voglia molta cautela.
Io vivo a Washington DC. La gente è molto liberale. Questo non porta nessuna negativa conseguenza se sto contrattando con clienti, magari con punti di vista più conservatori, sempre se il mio tono non è offensivo. Sicuramente tematiche come politica e religione sono molto pericolose. Fate cautela.
Nina:
Si, sono daccordo. Credo bisogna essere molto attenti. Come hai affermato, dipende dai clienti con cui hai a che fare. Può capitare che i tuoi clienti siano molto più conservatori circa i tuoi CEO/Corporate obbiettivi.
Nel tuo libro, nel capitolo 7 per coloro che sono interessati, parli di 10 SUGGERIMENTI PER SCRIVERE UN’ EFFICACE BLOG.
Ce ne puoi spiegare alcuni?

Solo una cosa da puntualizzare. Un’ orientamento che si viene a sottolineare proprio in questa articolo.
Se avete notato, siamo in pieno passaggio dall’ Orientamento al Marketing versus Orientamento al Marketing Relazionale. Lo si nota quando Debbie passa dal dire “consapevolezza dell’esistanza del brand (passività)”, verso “parlare in pubblico del brand (attività).
Da una situazione mentale del consumer, “Conosco quella marca per vari motivi”, ad “Il consumer parla di quella marca, denotando interesse”. Il brand passa dall’ essere passivo (lo conosco e basta) all’essere da prima attivo (è reputato interessante dal consumer) e poi interattivo (il consumer sio informa, si avvicina entrando in contatto con la realtà aziendale).
Se leggete i manuali di Relationship Marketing, sicurameete avrete letto della tripletta del Marketin Relazionale.
L’ obiettivo che l’azienda ha di far parlare di se, dei suoi prodotti, del suo brandì, visto in un processo a tre fasi.
1. Instauriamo un Dialogo con il consumer il quale, se riesco nell’intento passa da essere passivo ad attivo (attivo significa attento), 2.3. Attraverso il Dialogo, spieghiamo che il bene (può essere anche il brand) ha Valore per il consumer. Da qui un consumer che prima era passivo (poco interessato) adesso con il Dialogo l’ho messo in una sutiazione di attenzione. Quando è il consumer interessato, sarà questo che chiederà ulteriori informazioni all’ azienda. Da qui il consumer inizia a parlare della marca o del bene, diventando interattivo, Relazionale con l’azienda.
Facciamonun passo avanti. Adesso cerchiamo di fidelizzare il consumer…. Buon lavoro….
