Colloquio in Accenture
Marzo 11th, 2008
Sto morendo dalla noia. Ora che devo aspettare l’ok da parte del prof per la tesi e quindi la mia attività è bloccata, non so che fare!!
Se è una bella giornata me ne vado a correre su per col di Roanza (Aldo preparati che riprendiamo gli allenamenti), se è una brutta giornata, non mi passa più. Un po’ di blog, un po’ di chitarra, msn, mail si ma tutto il resto della giornata?
Ve bhè, speriamo che domani non piova. A proposito vi racconto la mia giornata in Accenture..
Eravamo in cinque in tutto. Ovviamente io sono arrivato per primo e ho avvuto a che fare fin subito con la “receptionist” che mi ha subito azzittito e messo al mio posto. Dopo poco arrivano tutti. Giacca e cravatta fresche da laurea, si vedeva che era un capo a loro scomodo, in somma non hanno ancora fatto il callo al cappio che è la cravatta, non che io sia un veterano.
Cosa intendo dire con ciò, semplicemente che abbiamo fatto subito amicizia e tutti erano dei mattacchioni. Ci sediamo e si parte… Più o meno un’ora di presentazione d’azienda che risultava essere il meglio sempre e comunque. Le domande, opportunamente girate con un sorriso.
Si parlava di outsourcing, di java, unix, c++ allorchè “alzo la mano” e chiedo se io che ho studiato marketing ero fuori luogo. Ne parliamo dopo, così mi ha risposto la responsabile HR.
Finita la prima parte, ci lasciano davanti alle macchinette del caffè e ci abbuffiamo di theina e caffeina. Tutti estremamente rilassati ma Laura no, era particoalrmente tesa. Non dico che tremasse ma poco ci mancava. Ecco che per sdrammatizzare gli racconto di come faccio il risotto in pentola a pressione (ricetta prossimamente ma solo se siete interessati) e nella foga della spiegazione rovescio l’intero bicchiere di the sul tavolo.
Dal momento in cui ho rovesciato il the sul tavolo al momento in cui il tavolo è ritornato lindo, credo che tutta l’Accenture sia arrivata a fare la pausa caffè, sorriso, occhiata al tavolino, disprezzo. E va bhè….
Inizia il mio colloquio, cinque minuti e la responsabile HR forse mi trova un posto a Milano in un ambito che più mi è consono.
Esco, Laura entra e gli dico che l’avremo aspettata per andare a brindare assieme. Lì, scopro che l’esaminatrice aveva detto a tutti noi:” Vi trovo un posto a Milano”. Nessuno era disposto ad entrare in Accenture Outsourcing a Verona ( settore banca e insurances).
Nel dubbio ce ne andiamo tutti e lasciamo Laura che stava per firmare il contratto. Pizza, caffè in stazione e poi casa base.
Soddisfatto della giornata? Bhè, sicuramente si. Il team Accenture mi ha fatto un’ottima impressione. Molto professionami e umani.
Ottima scuola, almeno credo.

Se posso esprimere la mia scarsa conoscenza di Accenture, posso dirti che se hai voglia di far carriera puo’ essere un bel posto, si scala in fretta e la paga generalmente e’ molto buona, con veloce incremento correlato alla posizione che sale facilmente come ti dicevo prima. Il perche’?? Li’ non ci rimane nessuno per molto, x cui le posizioni si liberano veloci cm la luce! Il motivo???? Ti spremono cm un limone, lavori cm un negro anke 12 ore al giorno e l’ambiente nn e’ dei migliori. Detto qst, pero’, se tu vuoi salire in “posizioni” e’ un buon posto!

Mi sa che mack81 ha ragione Ale. Dipende sa cosa vuoi tu…secondo me per un paio di anni ci può anche stare, ma poi ti esauriscono!

@Tutti: La consulenza è un settore molto interessante ma molto stressante. Pagano bene ma perchè fai mille ore. Fate conte che capita che il nuovo assunto che le prime giornate non ha niente da fare lo fan rimanere fin tardi un ufficio semplicemente perchè, i consulenti devono lavorare fin tardi..
Rimana comunque un’ottima scuola.

Si, ai colloqui Accenture fa un’ottima impressione. Ma dopo, nel tempo, lavorandoci, scoprirai ce l’”umanità” viene messa come unltima nelle priorità. Prima vengono i soldi, il business, il potere… e poi alla fine di tutto vieni te, come persona. Io lavoro in ATS e non è facile, l’ambiente non è dei migliori. E’ una situazione stancante e anche professionalmente credo che al mondo esistano situazioni ed aziende molto migliori di questa, almeno per la vita che ti lasciano fare extra lavoro.

Lorenazo: Ciao Lorenzo. Grazie per l’imbocca al lupo. Se tutto va bene il 14 luglio mi laureo e poi.. chi lo sa.. Forse me ne vado all’estero per un po’ , sempre che l’azienda che ho contattato sia ancora interessata. Vediamo un po’.
