E questa sera, dove mi vuoi portare?
Lo so, ormai ti riconosco, ora non ti temo più.
Ti attendo, mio silenzioso compagno di viaggio.
Forza, non farmi aspettare, sono pronto.
Non mi è dato di decidere dove ne sapere quando,
devo solo seguire.
Da ogni viaggio sono sempre tornato,
tu, mai mi hai abbandonato
e ancora conservo dentro di me i segni di tutti
questi viaggi che tu, hai appuntato
nel tuo diario in sciocche poesie.
Forza, andiamo, io ti seguirò, silenzioso compagno di viaggio.
Sarà dal tuo silenzio che mi addestrerò e apprenderò
ciò che questa notte tu, mi vorrai insegnare.
Non so per quanto tempo mi terrai con te
forse non tornerò o se lo farò, io, sarò cambiato.
Chi ad attendermi e ad accorgersi che qualcosa è mutato?
Rimani perciò con me, mio caro compagno di viaggio,
ancora per un po’, solo un po’,
solo.
